2025 PRC STEM Competition Not Yet Now
2 April 2024
2025 STEM Reading and Design Challenge
The Premier’s Reading Challenge and partners are teaming up again to challenge students to read about Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) in the lead up to National Science Week. The reading and design competition started in 2016 and last year 3,300 entries were received!
You can see the fantastic winning entries from 2024 here.
This year we have three additional themes – NATURE IN SOUTH AUSTRALIA, SPACE & GREEN HYDROGEN.
The R-12 competition will open on Tuesday, 1 April 2025, and entries close on Friday, 20 June 2025.
As in previous years, there are great prizes to be won. To enter you need to read a STEM, nature, space or sustainable energy themed book, preferably from the Premier’s Reading Challenge booklist and then use your imagination for your entry.
Please note: We ask that schools maintain the list of students who enter the competition, in order to present them with their participation certificates. PRC staff will not record students’ names.
Green hydrogen is regularly in the news. If you are interested in this category, these additional resources might help:
- Video: green hydrogen production
- Brochure placemat: green hydrogen production
