2024 Premier’s Reception
22 January 2025
On Wednesday 20 November 2024, representatives from 30 high achieving schools from around South Australia came together at The Sanctuary, Adelaide Zoo, to be congratulated for their outstanding efforts in the 2024 Premier’s Reading Challenge.
Attendees were treated to a wonderful performance based on Jack Heath’s ‘Minutes of Danger’ series by the talented drama students of Charles Campbell College, and inspiring speeches from The Hon Blair Boyer, Minister for Education, Training and Skills and MC Bec Morse, PRC Ambassador.
The 2025 posters designed by budding artists Mia Todd and Arabella Alsop were unveiled, and school representatives were congratulated for their school’s participation in the Challenge, and presented with a certificate and bag of books for their school libraries.
Proceedings were followed by a delicious morning tea, the opportunity to mingle with the Premier’s Reading Challenge Ambassadors and Minister, and for those who had the time, entrance into the zoo to view the animals!
Congratulations to all the invited schools, and we look forward to hosting a new group in 2025!
