A very clever and funny story with a text rolling through the book that will have children joining in to correct the spellings and word play. Clarrie the farmer goes out for a big day and after a day full of adventure this wacky man has to call on Bert the dog to come to the rescue. The illustrator uses acrylic paint, watercolour, ballpoint pen to create equally lovely illustrations to go with the text. A great book to read aloud and to be enjoyed alone but sure to create noise and fun in the reading.
