Family & Relationships

Seventeen-year-old Del drops out of high school when her romance with another girl ends in relentless bullying. Adding to her drama, her father has gone overseas to ‘find himself’, leaving Del to manage the family café with her best friend Charlie. The protagonist in this book is strong, positive and so very likeable. It is a fantastic book that talks to teenagers in an honest way, reminding everyone that nobody knows who they really are at seventeen, and that it is okay not to have all the answers.
