Garcia and Colette are great friends and want to go exploring but cannot agree on where to go. Garcia likes everything to do with space and Colette is determined to explore the sea. They build a rocket and a submarine and wish each other well on their adventures. Space is beautiful and the sea is beautiful they both write. Space is quiet and the sea is quiet, space is lonely and the sea is lonely. The sea is great and space is awesome but they realise that being together is the most important thing. The original artwork of brush and ink on watercolour paper gives this book a retro feel appealing to the adult readers as well.
