The Premier’s Reading Challenge Reception

The Premier’s Reading Challenge Reception was held on Monday 18 November 2019, with representatives from 39 schools in attendance, along with the Premier, Minister for Education, many of our PRC Ambassadors and other VIPs.
Rousing performances by students from Coorara Primary School of a short Dramatisation of the book “Nevermoor” and a parody of the song “Old Town Road”, “Old Library” were greatly enjoyed by everyone, as was the animal encounter and afternoon tea following the proceedings.
The Premier also unveiled the 2020 Primary and Secondary posters, with the help of the respective artists.
