Student Reading Records

The Student Reading Record is how students keep track of the books they have read during the Challenge. Every student who participates in the Challenge must complete a Student Reading Record.

The Student Reading Record is available to download as a Word document. Each time a student reads a book they will need to record the title and author and have the book signed off by a parent, guardian, teacher or librarian.

If the student is from a non-Government school, please fill in the date of birth and the school at which the Challenge was last completed. This will assist with matching records to previous participation and ensure the correct award is awarded. (Please note that this information is not used for any other purpose and will not be made public at any time).

Hall of Fame

Students receive a Hall of Fame medal for completing the challenge 7 times.

Parents nominate on their child’s reading record whether they allow their child to be named on the Honour Roll – either ‘tick the box’ or not.

Each Hall of Fame recipient has the opportunity to have their name recorded with parent/carer consent, on the Hall of Fame Honour Roll.
