Prince Alfred College SPACE competition winner

Congratulations to Zac Grice who entered the PRC STEM-Space competition, sponsored by SmartSAT. He took out first prize in the Years3-5 section and was rewarded with a beautiful book and a $30 book voucher. Zac’s well conceived and expertly presented G-Force Sensor invention showed great creativity and deep thinking. Zac reflected on one of the PRC books he read this year, “First Kids in Space Galactic Adventures” By Tristan Bancks to create a fantastic poster.

Zac said, “While completing this challenge, I learnt about the vestibular system in the human brain.  I was quite shocked to learn I had won and it was great being presented the award by Mr Williams, with Mr. John Shackleton (Preparatory Deputy) and Mr. Jason Coleman (Preparatory Librarian) present.”

We are looking forward to seeing what students from PAC can do next year!
