Pinnacle College welcomes Allayne Webster

Pinnacle College students from Gilles Plains and Golden Grove were fortunate to have Allayne Webster Speak to them on Friday 19 March. Allayne shared her story of growing up in Kingston SE where books were her best friends. She wrote her first book at school and got her English teacher to do her editing!

Allayne encouraged all the students to keep reading but also to write down their thoughts – telling stories can be a great way to work through some of you feelings she said.

At the end of the session, students asked lots of questions. It was clear that Allayne had inspired students to think about reading AND writing stories.
