Mem Fox reaches the pinnacle

Mem Fox, like Possum Magic, went on quite a road trip. She ventured to the Riverland and back to Elizabeth to finally reach Pinnacle College. There she met a group of lovely early primary students. The students were thrilled to hear her read some of her books, including Whoever you are, a story of the importance of being kind and caring for each other.
Year 2 students said of Mem’s visit, “I liked it because I love her books. My most favourite one was The Magic Hat, I loved it from my childhood.” And, “I liked Mem Fox’s visit because I have some of her books at home.”
Mem hoped that she left students wanting to read more and to complete their PRC.
