Thomas More College – visit from radio personality – June 2021

Thomas More College enjoyed a visit from guest speaker, Aiden Grant, from 107.9 FM radio station. Aiden presented to our year 7, 8 and 9 students regarding the Premier’s Reading Challenge and shared with students his career in radio and the importance of reading.
Attached is a group photo of our Student Representative students representing each year level and 2 of our Margaret More Centre students (students with disabilities) who presented Aiden with a thank you gift for presenting to us all.
Aiden was invited to speak with our younger students as his wife is a past staff member and he has a connection with a staff member currently working with us. He knew nothing about the Premier’s Reading challenge as he is originally from Geelong in Victoria so he did some research and his presentation was fantastic.
