Rosanne Hawke author visit – student perspective
Rosanne Hawke is such a beautiful soul, and it was a massive privilege to have her join us and share such an uplifting and inspiring speech about her journey to discovering herself in reading and writing. Rosanne Hawke went into such detail on the benefits of reading and writing to give us students inspiration and motivation to find their passion in something that she does and enjoys every day. The amount of effort that she put into her speech was so inspiring. The privilege of listening to Rosanne express and share herself was so inspiring and uplifting.
Ambassador visit – staff perspective
The recent ambassador visit that we had from Rosanne Hawke was a huge encouragement to both student and staff. Listening to her talk about her passion for reading and the benefits of it for students helped all listening truly understand the value of books. Rosanne’s insights into the process of writing her novels has inspired students. Her love of the written word was evident and has created a renewed interest within our middle school community of books and reading. We are incredibly grateful to her and Mark William’s from the Premier’s Reading Challenge for this opportunity to hear Rosanne talk on these subjects.
