Ambassador Visit to Reidy Park Primary School
8 May 2025
Renowned author, and Premier’s Reading Challenge Ambassador, Mem Fox visited Reidy Park Primary School on 8th May. Sharing her love of reading, students were captivated by Mem’s storytelling and passion for books.
Having written so many wonderful books, it is difficult to determine a favourite but, amongst Reidy Park students, Possum Magic and Where is the Green Sheep? are high up on their list. After Mem’s presentation, and reminder about the importance of reading and why completing the Premier’s Reading Challenge is so rewarding, many students (and staff) joined the long line to have one of their own much-loved copies of a Mem Fox book signed.
What an incredible afternoon it was for everyone.
