STEM competition winner – Tintinara Area School

Over 3,000 STEM competition entries were received in 2025 and from these, 12 students were selected as winners of their age group categories.

Sophie Harkness created a SPACE poster that saw her win the year 6-9 age category. She was awarded a book prize and voucher provided by SmartSat CRC, one of the Premier’s Reading Challenge generous partners in the STEM competition.

Sophie said, “I felt excited about having my award presented. I think it will inspire others to do it next time.”
