STEM competition winners – Le Fevre Peninsula Primary School

The Premier’s Reading Challenge and partners teamed up again to challenge students to read about Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) in the lead up to National Science Week. As in recent years, over 3,000 STEM competition entries were received in 2025. From these, 12 students were selected as winners of their age group categories, as well as 32 runners-up.

Le Fevre Peninsula Primary School submitted entries for the competition. Here is what Maya Brown, runner up in the 3-5 Space category had to say …

“I really liked that I got to read and I liked that I could draw my entry for the competition. I was very happy and excited. I was also a bit surprised and felt proud of myself.”
