Renmark Paringa Council Community Event – Mem Fox

As well as visiting four schools, during a Premier’s Reading Challenge visit to the Riverland and Murraylands, Ambassador and award-winning author, Mem Fox presented for the Renmark Paringa Council.
A free community evening for adults held at Hotel Renmark, this was an opportunity to learn more about Mem’s passion for reading and writing, as well as hear readings of her much-loved books. The audience were entertained by Mem’s humour and passion.
Feedback included;
I had the joy of being at the Renmark Primary presentation and the community event in the evening. So special to hear Mem Fox read her own books aloud and share her love of reading with children. Also loved hearing her describe how and why she incorporates beat and rhythm in the words she lovingly crafts for children.
