Team - Adelaide 36ers

The 36ers were established in 1982, adopting the ‘Adelaide 36ers’ name to honour the founding year of South Australia in 1836. The Adelaide 36ers have won 4 NBL Championships (1986, 1998, 1999 & 2022).

More recently, the Shooting Hoops Foundation has been launched, a non-for-profit business created by the club that aims to inspire social change through basketball and equip young people with important life skills to thrive in their life.

The Adelaide 36ers through the Shooting Hoops Foundation offer a wide range of community programs aligned to the following key pillars:

  • Health and Wellbeing
  • Leadership and Resilience.
  • Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics (STEM).
  • Culture & Social Inclusion.
  • Development & High Performance.

The Adelaide 36ers are proud to support the Premier’s Reading & Be Active Challenges and encourage you all to participate.
