Rebecca Morse

Books are a wonderful way to escape from the world and exercise your imagination. Reading is also really important because it helps teach spelling and grammar, which I’m a bit obsessed about!

More information

Rebecca Morse is an award-winning journalist who reads Adelaide’s Ten News First and is co-host of Hit107 breakfast show. She loves reading with her three daughters, Grace, Milla and Frankie.

“I have been passionate about reading from a young age, in fact I wanted to be an author before I chose the path of journalism.

I loved Enid Blyton and then Stephen King books when I was young, and I would often stay up late reading with a torch under the covers.

I’m currently enjoying sharing the books of Oliver Jeffers with my girls and they also love Dr Seuss, Harry potter and the Percy Jackson series.

I am very honoured to be an Ambassador for the Premier’s Reading Challenge and love visiting schools to meet students and share my love of books, in fact it’s inspired me to read more as well!”
